This dazzling event, showcasing the Citadel of Dinant and the famous Smurfs, is drawing to a close. If you haven't yet had the chance to join them for some Smurf fun, there's still time. But the lights will soon go out: hurry!
This is an opportunity to immerse yourself in a magical world with the "Garden of Lights", a luminous trail of approximately 1 km. More than 50 captivating scenes, interactive installations and a musical atmosphere taken from the film "The Smurfs and the Lost Village".
A magical experience for young and old, not to be missed before it closes.
Siberian Trail
Dates: February 21 and 22, 2025
Location: Profondeville, Burnot College
Description :
A sporting activity for trail running enthusiasts. Don't be fooled: the race starts in Profondeville, not on the other side of the world. If you didn't know, Siberia is a district of Profondeville, known for being particularly windswept.
Several distances are offered for this trail race, now in its fifth edition. Here is the program proposed by the organizers:
Friday, February 21st, evening:
-6km/ 330m D+, 10km/ 500m D+, 15km/ 600m D+, 19km/ 870m D+ and 25km/ 1050m D+
On Saturday, February 22nd, the ULTRA distances:
-35km/ 1300M D+, 42.5km/ 1500M D+, 52km/ 1700 D+, 75km/ 2200m D+, 100km/ 3000m D+ and…125km/ 3800m D+.
Guided tour of Bouvignes

Much more relaxing than the Siberian trail, why not explore the town of Bouvignes on foot? A guided tour of the town is offered by Terra Wallonia .
Located opposite Dinant, on the other bank of the river, Bouvignes experienced its golden age in the Middle Ages, when it rivaled its neighbor. It retains ruins and buildings from this period, bearing witness to its past.
The history of Bouvignes is inextricably linked to that of Crevecoeur, whose ruins you can see atop a rocky spur. Before visiting Bouvignes, discover the tragic fate of the three ladies of Crevecoeur in our blog post. Their story is intimately connected to that of the medieval town of Bouvignes.

The Witches' Chess

A change of pace with this particular hunt.
The Witch Hunt, or witch hunt, is a folkloric reenactment parodying the witch trials of the 16th century.
The festivities begin with the tasting of the "Tchabotte", followed by a children's show at 3:30 pm.
At 5:30 p.m., the torchlit procession sets off in search of the "witches," leading to the trial at 7:30 p.m., followed by a carnival-themed evening at 8 p.m.
A day full of traditions and entertainment for the whole family.
The unusual Dinant
Dates: February 15, 2025
Location: Dinant, Cultural Center
Description :
Unusual Dinant is a conference held at the Cultural Center. Michel Coleau and Pascal Saint-Amand, two historians, share their unusual and mysterious discoveries in the city of the Copères.
An original way to discover Dinant, through little-known or forgotten stories and anecdotes.
