With Dinant Montmartre, every last Sunday of September, the streets of the Saint-Nicolas district of Dinant are invaded by easels, painted pictures, quality crafts… and of course artists, craftsmen and… many visitors.
For the 2023 edition, the sun was also out in force. Which no one complained about, since the event takes place mainly in the narrow streets of this district, in the heart of the city of Dinant.
Once again this year, art lovers were delighted by the diversity of artists present: watercolors, drawings, engravings, photographs.
The festival also welcomes craftspeople: ceramicists, sculptors, woodworkers or stonemasons, jewelry designers, etc
Some artists and craftspeople work under the curious and admiring gaze of visitors, who readily ask them questions about their work. Others are on hand to explain the origin of a piece or the craft technique used.
Many residents of the neighborhood open their gardens or garages to welcome exhibitors and visitors. A few outdoor cafes are set up, offering moments of rest and relaxation in a festive and musical atmosphere.
